Privacy Policy

What this website collects, why, and how we handle it — including the health information people sometimes choose to share with us.

MimiVax, Inc. · Last updated October 5, 2026 · Applies to mimivax.com

What we collect

What you tell us, and basic site usage.

Beyond basic site-usage analytics (described below), this website collects information only when you submit it yourself, through the Contact form or the Expanded Access form. Depending on which form you use, that can include your name, email address, institution, the role you selected, and whatever you write in the message field — which may include health information about yourself or someone you’re writing on behalf of.

We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people use this site — for example which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. It records standard technical information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, and uses cookies for visitors outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (for visitors in those regions, analytics cookies are turned off). We have turned off Google signals and advertising features, and we don’t send what you type into our forms to Google Analytics. We don’t use tracking cookies for advertising. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or your browser’s privacy settings.

How we use it

To read and respond to what you’ve sent us.

We use the information you submit to route your message to the right team at MimiVax, understand your question or request, and reply to you. We don’t use it for marketing, and we don’t sell it to anyone, under any circumstances.

If you submit a request through the Expanded Access form, we also use the information to evaluate your request against the eligibility criteria described in our Expanded Access Policy.

Health information

Handled with the same care, wherever it comes from.

MimiVax is a pharmaceutical company, not a health plan, clearinghouse, or healthcare provider, so HIPAA does not directly govern the information submitted through these forms. That doesn’t change how carefully we treat it: any health information you share with us is used only to respond to your specific inquiry, seen only by the team members who handle these requests, and is never sold or used for marketing — the same standard we hold for every submission.

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws that specifically cover health-related information may also apply to how we handle what you submit.

Who sees it

A small team, and the tools we use to receive it.

Submissions are received and stored using Google Forms, a third-party service we use to collect and organize inquiries. From there, only the MimiVax team members responsible for reviewing contact and expanded access requests have access.

We don’t share what you submit with any other outside company, and we don’t share it within MimiVax beyond the people who need it to respond to you.

Retention & security

Kept only as long as it’s useful, protected while it is.

We keep submissions only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to maintain a record of expanded access requests we’ve received. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information in our systems, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your choices

Reach out any time with questions.

If you’d like to know what information we have on file for you, ask us to correct it, or have it deleted, email us at info@mimivax.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and do what we can to honor your request, consistent with any obligations that apply to us.

This policy may be updated from time to time; the date above reflects the most recent change. It covers mimivax.com only — it doesn’t apply to medical records or data generated through participation in a clinical trial, which are governed separately by the applicable research and regulatory requirements.
