Margot P. Schoenborn

Margot P. Schoenborn is a seasoned healthcare and biotechnology legal and business executive with more than 20 years of experience advising boards and executive teams on complex transactions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth. She joined Roswell Park as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary in September 2025, and leads the legal, compliance, privacy, risk management, technology transfer, and information security functions. Margot also serves as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Xyall, B.V., a privately-held Dutch medical technology company.

Prior to her current role, Margot held senior leadership positions at Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (Labcorp), including Vice President and Head of Oncology Strategy and Business Management, where she co-led a $400+ million oncology business unit, and as Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel of OmniSeq, a precision molecular oncology diagnostics company acquired by Labcorp. Her experience spans scaling high-growth companies, leading M&A transactions, managing large P&Ls, and launching innovative oncology diagnostics and services. Earlier in her career, she served as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the New York State Office of the Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, leading major healthcare fraud investigations and litigation.

She holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Nazareth University.
