Manmeet S. Ahluwalia, MD, FACP

Dr. Ahluwalia is the Chief of Medical Oncology, Deputy Director and Chief Scientific Officer of the Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health South Florida, where he subspecializes in the treatment of brain tumors and brain metastases. He previously served as a Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, as Director of the Brain Metastasis Research Program and Head of Operations in the BBTC of the Neurological Institute of the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Ahluwalia received his medical degree from the Maulana Azad Medical College of the University of Delhi, completed his residency at Fairview General Hospital, and his fellowship training at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research focuses on the development of new therapies for people with brain tumors and brain metastases, and he is currently leading several clinical trials involving immune therapy, new targeted therapies, and treatments targeting tumor blood vessels (angiogenesis) and cancer stem cells. His results have been presented nationally and internationally and have resulted in more than 100 manuscripts.
