Doug Schoenberg

Doug Schoenberg is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SofterWare, a leading provider of software and electronic payment solutions for the non-profit sector. Under his leadership, the company has spent decades building reliable technology infrastructure that helps non-profit organizations scale their missions.

Following his wife’s glioblastoma diagnosis in 2024, Doug took on a new role as medical researcher and patient advocate. What began as a focus on his wife’s treatment quickly broadened into a recognition of the challenges that nearly every GBM patient and caregiver faces in understanding and accessing effective treatment after surgery. Through his and his wife’s network of connections, Doug was introduced to MimiVax, where he has since become an investor and board observer.

Beyond MimiVax, Doug is actively involved with Ember AI, a GBM patient navigation tool, and the Compassionate Use Fund, a newly created initiative that helps GBM patients gain access to promising treatments through FDA-approved expanded access programs.
